Live at KUVO: Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars | June 9

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform live at KUVO June 9 from 7 to 8 PM MT.

This talented group has performed with numerous professional musicians, including Bob Draga, Eddie Erickson, Dr. Bach and the Jazz Practitioners, 101st Colorado Army Dixieland Band, Blue Street Jazz Band, and more!

The only Colorado youth band invited to perform at the 2010-2014 Sacramento Jazz Jubilees, the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars also performed at 2011 Montreux and the Switzerland Jazz Festival. Local performances include the Evergreen Jazz Festival, Summit Jazz Festival and Summit Swingin’ Jazz Concerts. 

Founder and Director Dr. Ed Cannava enjoyed a 22-year tenure directing Arapahoe High School’s Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs, three-time recipients of Downbeat awards.
