Paul Donovan of Evening Jazz interviews neo-folk artist Lauren Frihauf on Friday, November 1 .

You might recognize Lauren Frihauf from her feature in NPR Music’s Tiny Desk ‘Top Shelf’, EP 1, or from Season 19 of NBC’s “The Voice”, where she made it to the Knockout Rounds with Teams Gwen and Legend.

Frihauf’s enchanting sound, often compared to Joni Mitchell and Madison Cunningham, effortlessly blends elements of Indie, Folk, and Neo-soul. Her first original project was a collaboration that culminated in “The Latona Ep”, released in 2022 and she recently finished recording her solo album, set to come out.

She recently released her solo debut album “Fragments of a Stranger.

Lauren will perform at Dazzle on Saturday, November 2 at 9 p.m.

Tune in to Evening Jazz with Paul Donovan Monday — Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.
