LAPOMPE is a Denver-based gypsy jazz group that fuses eclectic American jazz standards with french ballads, and Django Reinhardt “Hot Club” tunes. With a diverse blend of vocal arrangements and hard-swinging instrumentals, La Pompe Jazz has garnered a loyal following in Colorado.

They’ve been making their mark with performances at Denver venues such as The Mercury Cafe, Ophelia’s, Dazzle, Nocturne and festival appearances including City Park Jazz, the Underground Music Showcase and the Westword Music Showcase (where they received the Producer’s Choice Award).  In addition to paying musical homage to their heroes (Django Reinhardt, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Prima, Nat King Cole, Fats Waller, etc.) – they’ve also released original compositions that present a fusion of vintage and modern, making use of their folk-influenced variant to the traditional jazz sound.
