KUVO’s YouTube channel catching fire!
Real and raw, KUVO’s YouTube channels are heating up with fresh footage from live broadcasts, private streams, and an all-new channel for KUVO’s radio interviews called “KUVO COMMUNITY.”
Recently uploaded are a performance and interview with soul singer Lee Fields (accompanied by Dap-Kings guitarist Joe Crispiano). (Check out the whole interview, it’s nothing less than profound). Drummer-producer Willie Jones III visited KUVO with his quartet (including native Denverite Brad Leali on sax, with Tyler Bullock and Dan Boller). The one-hour session was a real treat – a soulful, straight-ahead set on their way to Dazzle that night.
Drill down into this visual/musical rabbit hole and you’ll find sizzling shorts and expansive videos from the Jazz Odyssey Presents series that were captured around town (DR3AMC@$T, Las Luces, the Off the Cuff jam session, and more)! Colorado artists have a special place on KUVO’s YouTube space (and in our hearts!). The Colorado Mambo Sextet, Briana Harris, Allison Young, Spherio, and the Mile High Brass Band are recent additions. We archive all our High School / Collegiate Series performances here too.
KUVO’s national reputation draws in plenty of touring artists on their way through Denver, as well as community leaders and local personalities (activists, chefs, business owners, entrepreneurs, etc.). KUVO has a new YouTube channel for our amazing in-studio interviews that happen first on the radio. Visit the KUVO COMMUNITY channel to see our sit-down conversations with Christian McBride, Kassa Overall, Dr. Temple Grandin, stage director donnie l. betts, singer Linda Theus Lee, and more!
And don’t forget, when you visit KUVO JAZZ and KUVO COMMUNITY channels, be sure to LIKE (Yay!), COMMENT (helps the algorithm find and recommend us), SUBSCRIBE (sponsors like that part), and hit the NOTIFICATION bell so you don’t miss a session!
