KUVO Studio Club: Voz de la Clave | Dec 12

The KUVO High School/Collegiate Series presents “Voz de la Clave” on Tuesday, December 12 at 7pm in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.

Voz de la Clave is one of the signature ensembles within the Music & Entertainment Industry Studies Department at the University of Colorado Denver. The ensemble performs salsa and Latin jazz music, mixing traditional styles with modern repertoire and interpretation. In the last year, the ensemble has performed at the 5 Points Jazz Festival, performed on the Sounds on 29th show on PBS, and collaborated with CU Denver College of Arts and Media film students and faculty member Jim Phelan to create a documentary about the group that was aired on PBS and won a regional Emmy award.
