KUVO Studio Club: Aaron Walker Quartet with Bjorn Thoroddsen | Apr 20

The KUVO Studio Club welcomes the Aaron Walker Quartet on Friday, April 20 at 11:15am to noon, as they perform their own Bohemian style of jazz music. The quartet comprises of Aaron Walker on lead guitar with Luke Smith on rhythm guitar, Gary Sloan on stand-up bass and Joe d’Esposito. Guitarist Bjorn Thoroddsen will be playing instead of Joe d’Esposito.

The Aaron Walker Quartet stands on the shoulders of legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt – jazz guitarist who became one of the first important soloists in the genre – and adds their own unique twist, spin and provocations to their music.

Aaron Walker is a world-class guitarist with many radio and TV appearances to his credit. He has been a featured performer on PBS and the Food Network television stations, at prestigious jazz festivals in the United States, and in countries such as Costa Rica, Iceland and Germany.
