Joy Wine and Spirits talks wine and the Covid-19 pandemic
Local sommelier and owner of Joy Wine and Spirits, Carolyn Joy and I chatted about Mayor Hancock issuing his original stay at home order, where at first, liquor stores were not essential and then they were and she talks about how she and her staff were able to handle everything with lines of people and demands for liquor.
She also talked about health concerns for her staff and customers and how she and her employees are working on no-contact by offering curbside service through the use their app and customers calling in orders. And lastly we had a chance to talk about the global aspect of this pandemic and how this is affecting organic and regualr wine makers(especially the ones in Italy).
