The piano trio has been a major voice in the pantheon of jazz history. Every major step forward in the development of this music has been driven by, or responded to, by a great piano trio. The magic which can come from three musicians coming from the same psychic space can be truly breathtaking! The swinging excitement of Red Garland, the energy of Oscar Peterson, the sophistication of Ahmad Jamal, the exquisite beauty of Bill Evans will all be visited by a trio of Denver’s finest: Jeff Jenkins on piano, Seth Lewis on bass, and Todd Reid on drums.
