Jazzmeia Horn Live from KUVO’s Bonfils-Stanton Studio on YouTube & Twitch channels will be released on Thursday, October 24 at 11 a.m.

Jazzmeia performed with Victor Gould on piano, Eric Wheeler on bass, and Gregory Archery on drums.

Grammy-nominated vocalist, Jazzmeia Horn graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, which was attended by other great artists such as Roy Hargrove, Norah Jones, and Erykah Badu. In 2009 she enrolled at The School of Jazz at The New School in New York City.

Ms. Horn won the 2013 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and the 2015 Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition. Ms. Horn has received Grammy nominations for her albums Dear Love, Love & Liberation, and A Social Call has published a book, Strive From Within: The Jazzmeia Horn Approach, and is the recipient of an NAACP Image Award.

While performing, writing, and preparing for the release of her new album “MESSAGES,” on October 25, Ms. Horn also teaches students and conducts outreach programs across the globe through The Jazz Horn International Vocal Initiative.
