This is Jazz News, a look at what’s news in jazz, music, and the arts.

One of Denver’s stellar jazz advocacy non-profits is Gift of Jazz, and their event series for emerging artists is called Next Up. Keyboardist Max Moore has his sextet now and they’re debuting on stage at Lodge at Woods Boss, coming up on Thursday, July 18.

It’s cool to watch a career develop before your eyes. Max Moore went to the Denver School of the Arts and studied with the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts. He’s been in the KUVO Studio several times, so congrats on the new sextet. (SOURCE: Gift of Jazz/ Performances)
