Colorado’s statewide experiment with the legalization of marijuana is taking unique forms in various communities. Lauren Glendenning reported on some of the new laws’ applications in the Vail Daily.
“They really differ in their strategy and their nervousness about it,” Glendenning told “First Take with Lando and Chavis. “I saw a bit more of a liberal take on it in Breckenridge and Aspen from police chiefs there.”
Interestingly, law enforcement agencies say illegal smuggling of pot into Colorado along Interstate 70 did not end with legalization.
Glenwood Springs Police Chief Terry Wilson told Glendenning, “We’ll find out if we won or lost in a generation.”
