Join the fun as We Get “Back in Saddle” for Bike to Work Day!

Stop by Bannock Street for the area’s largest breakfast station and celebrate Denver’s citywide bicycle program

DENVER – Following a cancellation of last year’s event due to COVID-19, Denver is getting “back in the saddle” for Bike To Work Day tomorrow, hosting one of the region’s largest breakfast stations on Bannock Street in front of the Denver City & County Building from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Participants can make a pit stop on their way into work to enjoy free breakfast burritos, warm coffee and other breakfast treats, visit with participating vendors, and celebrate more connections created through Denver’s bike program!

The buildout of the city’s bicycle network aligns with Mayor Hancock’s Mobility Action Plan to provide people with more and better transportation choices. The City has committed to installing 125 miles of new bikeways by the end of 2023, increasing the number of households within a five-minute ride of a high-comfort bike facility, while improving connections between Denver’s neighborhoods and destinations. A list of current projects included in Denver’s bike program can be found at Bike Program.

Here are a few highlights of what you’ll find at this year’s Bike to Work Day breakfast station:

—Grab a free Etai’s breakfast burrito (limited supply).

—Explore other breakfast offerings like coffee, donuts and fruit!

—Receive a bike tune up with bike techs from Elevation Cycles.

—Get your copy of Denver’s Bike Map

—Register your bicycle with the Denver Police Department. Registering aids officers in the recovery of stolen bicycles.
