Franny & the Jets are professional jazz musicians in their 20’s and 30’s in the Denver/Boulder area devoted to exploring and expanding on classic and progressive jazz. Playing a mix of jazz standards, pop songs with a jazz flair, and original tunes by the band, Franny & the Jets brings a freshness to each performance venue. The band’s originals (music by Alex Heffron with lyrics by Francesca Rubin) were recorded at a Denver Loft Session produced by Denver 8 TV and broadcast throughout Colorado during Jazz Appreciation Month in April 2017. In August 2017, Franny & the Jets was broadcast on KUVO radio from a Live at the Oasis session.
