Fortunato at Dazzle

After a year of packed house concerts, sold out performances and standing ovations at Vail Jazz Festival, Fortunato returns to Dazzle with fresh material including new Shakti and original pieces. We are super excited to share this music with you. Please come join us in “painting the moment with Beauty.”

Jazz violinist Anthony Salvo presents his new group, Fortunato, a virtuosic ensemble bringing the best of Gypsy, Klezmer, Indian, Latin, African and other roots traditions into a jazz setting. In October of 2017, Anthony brought together 4 friends with a common vision – to create and perform highly refined, culturally diverse, and musically interesting compositions from their favorite composers, and to perform them in a way that inspires, connects with, and celebrates our common being at a high level. The music is upbeat, energized, and sometimes deep and moving. Their current repertoire includes Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Shakti, Jean Luc Ponty as well as Anthony’s own original compositions.
