First New Music Monday of June

Our first New Music Monday edition of Lunchtime at the Oasis hosted by Arturo Gómez will feature the latest by one of the top flute players of modern jazz, Gerald Beckett.  The release is titled  The Messenger for the Summit Records label has some foot tappin’ tracks, some swingin’ songs and a touch of Latin. Also on the menu are the Kris Berg Metroplexity Big Band, Time Management, trumpeter David Weiss’ When Words Fail and Louis Prima Jr and the Witnesses following his legendary father’s tradition with their new one, Blow. All of that and more starting at Noon-Rocky Mountain Time.
