Yabird consists of several Boogie Mammoth members playing funk/jazz fusion – we’ve graced the stage at The Aggie, Cervantes, Appaloosa Grill and more. It’s been a long tumultuous year full of uncertainty, but alas, YaBird is back and stronger than ever! With roots deep in Iowa, band members Danny, Mike, and Patrick have a long history of getting folks to shake that tail feather. Joining forces with saxophonist Miles, Logan on drums, and Devin on bass, we are able to soar to new heights.

Harnessing the power of the funk, and the smoothness of jazz, this one-of-a-kind avian jam-vessel provides syncopated rhythms and deep-pocket bass lines that keep the room grooving.It’s a Colorado thing.
