Wil Swindler’s Elevenet celebrates the release of their latest album “Space Bugs” on OA2 records.

In describing this project, composer/bandleader/saxophonist Wil Swindler says:
“This project of mixed winds and jazz rhythm section has been my preferred compositional vehicle since 2004. This album showcases some of the music I have composed for this group from 2012 to 2022. As a composer, I’ve always been between worlds. I value the pristine intervals and warm timbres of orchestral classical music, but I love the adventurous freedom of small group jazz. This group exists with me between those two worlds in an attempt to explore and display the beauty found in each.”

This show is part of Dazzle’s ‘Move To the Music’ series of large ensembles on most Mondays at 7pm.
