The Walter Gorra Trio +1 aims to uplift and elevate the listener through Walter’s newest original compositions and arrangements. Featuring Mike Facey on bass, Alejandro Castaño on drums, and special guest – New York saxophonist Gideon Forbes on woodwinds, these long-time friends and musical accomplices draw from their backgrounds in various styles of music to develop an exciting and fresh sound. The group does this while respecting the tradition and history of jazz and makes its own contributions to the trajectory of the music.
