The Victor Mestas-Mike Abbott Quartet. Venezuelan, Grammy Award-Winning Victor Mestas is on keys. Mike Abbott on guitars has performed and recorded with the musical legends: Randy Brecker, Maria Schneider, Jeff Hamilton, John Clayton, Chie Imaizumi, Sammy Davis Jr., and Burt Bacharach. Jill Fredericksen is on drums & percussion and Kirwan Brown is on bass. All of these musicians are top-notch and have played at Sole many times and it is going to be another sizzling night of Latin jazz from some of the most esteemed composers from Mexico, South America, and Cuba-Moreira, Manzanero, Oscar Castro-Neves, Toninho Horta, and others. If you like Latin American Jazz, this is a must-see show!
