Join us for a special one-time performance by the Tenia Nelson Trio (TNT), a special collection of like-minded jazz musicians led by Denver pianist Tenia Nelson. These two sets will feature a number of classic R&B tunes re-imagined through the jazz lens. TNT is Tenia Nelson – Piano, Brendan O’ Donoghue – Bass, and Alex Tripp – Drums

Tenia Nelson is a Denver-based pianist, percussionist, and jazz educator. Tenia received her Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Metro State University of Denver in 2004 and a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. Tenia plays in a number of formats and styles and is a member of Spherio, which explores the music of Thelonious Sphere Monk.
