The Rich Chiaraluce Quartet featuring Andy Weyl (piano), Mark Diamond (bass), Harold Summey (drums) returns to the Nocturne stage!
As both a performer and bandleader, Saxophonist Rich Chiaraluce has been a long-time fixture of the Denver jazz scene. He has performed with Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Bobby Shew, Red Rodney, and Carl Fontana, as well as singers Mel Tormé, Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson, and Natalie Cole. Mr. Chiaraluce has taught at the University of Denver and the University of Northern Colorado and has recorded two albums as a bandleader: Because I Love You and Live at Sherman’s Coffee House spotlights featuring guitarist Dale Bruning and bassist Ken Walker.
