Join us on Friday nights in June to experience the exciting and gritty sounds of the Taylor Clay Quintet paying homage to Johnny Griffin and Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis – the iconic Tenor Titans.  Known for their be-bop anthems and crowd stirring solos, Johnny Griffin and Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis have influenced generations of musicians of all genres.

For this special series, saxophonist and bandleader Taylor Clay will be accompanied by Adam Gang on tenor saxophone, Jack Dunlevie on piano, Michael Rinko on bass, and Braxton Kahn on drums.

Taylor Clay was born in Brooklyn, NY and began his musical journey at the age of 13 with his middle school jazz band.  After high-school, Taylor attended the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY.  After completing his degree in Music performance in 2012, Taylor moved to Colorado to attend the University of Northern Colorado as a graduate student and teaching assistant.  Taylor currently lives in Denver, Colorado and works as a full time freelance musician and private educator.
