Pianist/Composer Dave Hanson says of the series: “The figure of Bob Dylan has always been surrounded by an aura of mystery to me, but I was always drawn towards his work. For years I could never square my involvement in improvised music with his music. Recently, I thought “why not”? With my colleagues John Gunther on saxophones, Mark Simon on bass, and Todd Reid on drums, we will explore that “why not?” and see where it leads!”
