Tales From The Far Side is widely considered one of guitarist Bill Frisell’s masterpiece recordings, Quartet from 1996 features an unusual instrumentation, and a unique balance of tight arrangements and collective improvisation. Many of the album’s songs were featured in films, including Gary Larson’s animated Tales From the Far Side. This group will present music from the album, in addition to some original songs in a similarly distinctive style.
