Louisa Amend is a vocalist and educator based out of Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 with a Bachelors of Music Education. During her time at UNC, Louisa sang with the nationally recognized UNC Vocal Lab – winner of Downbeat Magazine’s Large Vocal Ensemble in 2015.  Upon graduating, she spent a few years teaching choir and general music in public schools before transitioning into working as a musician and teaching private lessons. Louisa sings locally, in both jazz and classical settings, and as a singer/arranger of The Sharp 5 – a five-part vocal jazz group working with the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts (CCJA).
