This set will consist of a number of standards as well as some original works by Sam, which are heavily influenced by composers such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, and Bill Evans. The quintet holds a strong understanding in straight-ahead and contemporary jazz with some incorporations of electric instruments and more hip-hop oriented styles among the jazz tradition.
