The Riley Williams Quartet at the Muse Performance Space. Denver based drummer and producer, Riley Williams is a student at MSU Denver, studying Jazz and American improvised music with Dru Heller, Ron Miles, Dawn Clement and Shane Endsley among other amazing faulty in the program.

Riley’s drumming is heavily influenced by great jazz masters like Art Blakey, Philly Joe Jones, Tony Williams and Kenny Washington while also channeling the styles and concepts of great hip hop producers like Madlib, J Dilla and The RZA.

The Riley Williams Quartet features Gabe Mervine on trumpet, Ben Parrish on guitar, and Matt Smiley on bass. The quartet will perform a mix of original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards.
