We are delighted to welcome trumpeter Reid Pool and his quintet ( Matt Smiley– Bass, Dru Heller – Drums, Steven Denny – piano, Adam Gang – Tenor ) back to the stage for a special night of music honoring the great bebop trumpeter Fats Navarro.  Reid and this top-shelf quintet bring great joy to not only afficinados of straight ahead jazz, but also music lovers of all kinds.

Reid Poole a Colorado based band leader, freelance musician, and educator. Although Reid was raised in Colorado, he got his Master’s from the Eastman School of Music then relocated to New Orleans where he lived and worked for many years and become an integral part of the New Olreans music community. Reid has played throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan as a part of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Ricky Sweum Quintet, and with his bands, DinosAurchestra and The Secret Six.
