Bluesy rock duo Kirby and his father Dan Velarde have been on the music scene in Denver for over thirty years. They have toured the east and west coasts several times and have made several albums together. They continue to share their gift of music with the world and perform before live audiences far and wide.

Dan Velarde has played with guitarist Danny Gatton and The Manhattan Transfer, among others, while Kirby Velarde has performed with Bob James and Gerald Albright. Velarde’s original albums feature well-known artists such as the horn section from Earth, Wind & Fire and Howard Wales from the Grateful Dead. This father/son duo with a full band by its side continues to work hard and write music together to bring you a fabulous, unforgettable, unique and captivating sound!
