“One of the many reasons I love Jazz, is because you never play the same song the same way twice!” It’s great to be having my 90th Birthday Tribute at Dazzle! As a musician and music educator for over 60 years, it is truly a blessing to currently be experiencing “the best years of my life,” personally and professionally. I am extremely inspired, and writing special musical arrangements for this wonderful tribute, as well as for future gigs! My love and gratitude to my wife of 27 years, Karen Lee, our family and friends! Additionally, to Dazzle, KUVO Jazz Public Radio, our entire musical community, former students, Denver Public Schools colleagues, Denver School of the Arts, musicians, mentors, nightclub owners, festivals, theatres, and all audiences and gigs in Colorado and beyond, who have supported my music in the past, as well as present and future! It is essential that I share the depth of passion that my wife and I have for quality music, and pass it along. My goal is to continue growing, and sharing our music with you all the days of my life! Let’s raise a glass together, and celebrate in it, on Saturday evening, August 24th, 2019 at Dazzle!”
