The Micah Miller Quintet is a contemporary chamber jazz ensemble based in Denver, Colorado. Led by award-winning composer and trumpeter Micah Miller and featuring some of Northern Colorado’s most dynamic and creative young musicians, the quintet draws inspiration from a wide range of figures in modern music, including Duke Ellington, Aaron Copland, Ambrose Akinmusire, Kenny Wheeler, Walter Smith III, Shai Maestro, Brian Blade, and Ron Miles.
