A celebration of community!
Mariachi Sol De Mi Tierra was formed with the idea to show people something fresh and unique. On Aug 6, 1999, four young music enthusiasts, Oscar Vaca, Jesus Ramirez, Raul Romero, and Vicente Romero, gave complete trust and hope to the leader of the group, Juventino Romero. With a lot of determination, practice and hard work, they decided to plan an exciting musical adventure. Throughout the years, more musicians joined, which lead to the eight musicians who are a part of the group today.
The Fiesta Colorado Dance Company is a non-profit dance group known for original choreography for the El Dia de Los Muertos Celebration and other unique programs. The dancers from the company are trained with basic techniques in other dance styles which gives them versatility to create and perform new works, crossovers, and collaborations with other dance companies and music groups. The most recognized works for the company are the following: El Dia de Los Muertos, Ferdinand the Bull, The Magic of Mexico, The Flamenco Gypsy Souls, Misa Criolla-Fiesta, in addition to the traditional dances of Mexico and of Spain.
