Caffè Sole presents the Lionel Young Blues Band featuring Lionel Young-bandleader, singer, blues violin and guitar, Jay Forest is on drums, Kim Stone of Spyro Gyra and Rare Silk on bass, and Daryl Smith on guitar.

Lionel Young is a triple threat-great blues guitar player, violin player, and singer. In 2011 he won the International Blues Challenge for best band and best solo performer. That makes Lionel the first double champion in the history of the IBC. Daryl Smith is a former Detroit session player that toured and recorded with many of the great Motown bands-Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Temptations, The Persuasions…you name it. He is a great guy and an impeccable session player, that can tear it up from Jimi Hendrix to Deep Southern Blues, R&B to Soul.
