My name is Lazlo Torok and this recital will be the culmination of my studies playing jazz vibraphone for the past seven years. I have found joy in the expressivity and emotional depth that improvisational music provides, and I sincerely hope you will join me and the fantastic Greg Harris, Hunter Roberts, and JJ Mazza in celebrating this music and my continued journey. I will be playing my original compositions as well as the music of luminaries such as Joel Ross, Robert Glasper, Kenny Garrett, and Micah Thomas.
