Lazlo Torok is a vibraphonist and composer from Denver, Colorado currently studying jazz performance at the Juilliard School in New York City. In his music, he explores the relationship between composition and improvisation to create vessels for individual expression and a cohesive group dynamic. He is excited to be joined by friends and fellow Denver School of the Arts graduates: drummer JJ Mazza currently attends the Manhattan School of Music in New York, pianist Max Moore plays professionally in the Denver area, and bassist Mitchell Galligan is double majoring in computer science and jazz piano at Oberlin College and Conservatory in Ohio.
