The 1970s Jazz era was a truly inventive and exciting time! Many groups started to involve rock instruments like synthesizers, electric bass, and guitars with multiple effects. Saxophones and brass also used basic effects pedals for a variety of timbres and effects!
The concert will feature Jeff Jenkins on piano and synthesizer, Mike Marlier on drums, Gonzalo Teppa on electric and stand up bass, and Pete Lewis on acoustic and electric saxes. The repertoire will be from the Brecker Brothers, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Weather Report, and Wayne Shorter.
This concert will be streamed from the Muse. It will be available to view on Facebook and YouTube.
