While Georgann Low’s performance is peppered with great jazz from Wayne Shorter to Thelonious Monk, it is her original repertoire which is the most inspiring. Sharing short readings from her books and blogs, she dovetails into singing her own evocative tunes. She has chosen some of Denver’s finest jazz musicians to help her do this.

Georgann will be offering a tour de force in her highly unique style drawing from adventures in 60’s HaightAshbury to performances in elegant Parisian night clubs. Once upon a time, she was a raging, hedonistic flower child. All that changed when, at the age of 28, she learned to meditate.

These days young people recognize her as a sort of elder stateswoman of Hippiedom. (She has been introduced as such by podcast hosts recently– being in high demand as a purveyor of Joy and Hope in these difficult times.) Optimism is the key word here and her Being is filled with the stuff!

Born in these mountains, she has returned to share the wisdom and great humor gleaned from her life’s rich journey. She is a visual artist as well as a devoted musician and offers her highly creative performance direct from her heart to yours.
