Gabe Rupe is a Bassist, Composer and Educator from Lafayette, CO. Gabe is conservatory trained, having participated in the final iteration of the acclaimed Brubeck Institute, receiving an undergrad at the Juilliard School, and being the inaugural bassist in the Graduate Jazz Ensemble Program at the Peabody Conservatory. Specializing in Jazz, Gabe also finds his way into other genres and productions, performing in hip hop/ art music fusion ensemble Shout House with Will Healy and George Meyer. Gabe has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Greg Gisbert, Hugh Ragin, Paul Romaine, Eric Gunnison, Brad Goode, Ari Hoenig, Dave Kikoski, Rico Jones, Colin Stranahan, Dan Weiss, Kenny Wollisen, Charlie Ballantine and many others, Gabe Leads a band called the Gabe Rupe Grupe and has one album out as a leader titled Emergence.
