Pianist Ethan Frank is honored to be joined by drummer JJ Mazza and bassist Gabe Rupe for the debut performance of the Ethan Frank Trio. Featuring a unique musical perspective derived through composition and collective improvisation, the trio aims to provide a listening experience that is at once innovative and rooted in the jazz tradition. Each member of the group is featured through their own writing and their spontaneous contributions to the musical conversations onstage. Having played together for years in countless ensembles and performances throughout the Denver metro area, the trio is excited to showcase a level of interplay and connection that is unique to them.
