As you crest the hill the sun cracks through the clouds. The afternoon thunderstorm finally lets up just in time; you’re nearly beyond the tree line now. The sun’s rays dry the cold rain drops off of your skin as a chill gust of wind rushes through the alpine valley; rustling the aspens and sending ripples through the sea of wildflowers covering the ground. You may not be able to put this feeling into words later, but you can hear it in the monumental sound of brass and organ. Wind from the Mountain features the works of Colorado composers and music that captures the awe inspiring scenery and history of our beloved home.
