Dawn Clement and Steve Kovalcheck are a dynamic duo in the world of modern creative music, each bringing a wealth of talent and expertise to their collaborative projects. Clement, a celebrated pianist, vocalist, and composer, has been a prominent figure in jazz for over two decades. Her impressive career includes performances with jazz greats such as Jane Ira Bloom, and Julian Priester and she has recorded with the GRAMMY-nominated vocal ensemble, säje. Clement currently serves as an Associate Professor at MSU Denver and has recently been appointed Artistic Director of the Centrum Jazz Workshop. Joining forces with Clement is Kovalcheck, a talented guitarist renowned for his exceptional skills and creativity.

While having worked professionally in Nashville and New York, Kovalcheck has called Colorado home since 2007.

Kovalcheck performs and records with Akiko/Hamilton/Kovalcheck and also performs with the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. While in Colorado, he serves on the faculty of the jazz studies department at UNC Greeley. Together, Clement and Kovalcheck form an engaging duo, captivating audiences with their innovative and magical performances.
