David Mesquitic is a pianist and educator committed to the intergenerational transfer of the love, history, and traditions of jazz. This performance includes his originals, arrangements, and special interpretations on jazz standards and American Songbook selections ranging from the ragtime, stride, bebop, post bop, and contemporary jazz. The performance includes Domi Edson on bass and drummer Bobby Wiens.
Mesquitic is currently finishing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Studies at the University of Texas at Austin where he was recently awarded the 2022-2023 Eleanor Alexander Stripling Award for Excellence in Jazz Studies. As bandleader David released his first trio album in the summer of 2019 titled “Preamble.” As an artist, David remains active performing, touring, and arranging as leader and sideman in both jazz and commercial based projects. David has had the privilege to study with luminaries Andy LaVerne, Gerald Clayton, Tamir Hendelman, Steven Feifke, and Benny Green. Mesquitic’s performance includes groups such as Postmodern Jukebox, Benny Benack III, Aubrey Logan, Steven Feifke, Carmen Bradford, Clark Sommers, Dick Oats, Andre Hayward, James Morrison, and Christian Wiggs.

– Floor seats are reserved for Dinner and a Show Reservations (Music & Three Course Dinner Included)
– Reserved Bar Seats are $19 per guest and include music. Bar guests have access to the entire dinner menu as well as our wine & cocktail list.
– We hold aside 4 to 6 bar seats per set for first-come first-serve walk-in guests. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $20 per person applied to their check on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
