Join us on Thursdays throughout April as the Dave Hanson Trio celebrates the work of one of America’s most iconic musical voices, Herbie Hancock. Dave will be joined by a band of Denver greats, including Mark Simon on bass, and Todd Reid (April 4th and 18th) and Harold Summey (April 11th and 25th) on drums.

Dave Hanson is an accomplished arranger, composer, and pianist who has written for a diverse range of artists and ensembles, including the Boston Pops, Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, Denver Brass, Boulder Brass, USAF Falconaires, and Paul Winter. He is co-leader and arranger for the critically acclaimed H2 Big Band (based in Denver, Colorado). Hanson recently retired from his position at the Lamont School of Music at Denver University and teaches now at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
