The Clark Gibson Quintet presents the music from Tri-Colored Eyes. Clark Gibson is a jazz saxophonist, composer and educator recently named director of jazz studies at Northeastern State University.
In 2014 Gibson released, “Charlie Parker with Strings: The Lost Arrangements”, receiving outstanding reviews from publications such as Down Beat Magazine, Jazz Weekly, Allaboutjazz.com, Oklahoma Magazine, Jazz Wax, Los Angeles Jazz Scene and more.
His latest project is the Clark Gibson Quintet. In September of 2019, Gibson self-released “Tri-Colored Eyes” featuring world renowned B3 organist Pat Bianchi, Jim Pisano on tenor sax, Euan Edmonds on trombone and Jeremy Thomas on drums. This all original music project has enjoyed national attention and great reviews from Rootsville Jazz, Blues and Roots – Europe, Jazz Quad – Russia, Japan’s Jazz Life, Midwest Record Re- views, Makingascene.org, The Aquarius Weekly and more.
