The Chris Ferrari Trio is a newly formed group that features Ferrari on woodwinds, multi-instrumentalist Alex White on tuba, guitar, and electronics, and Maliq Wynn on drums. A recent graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Chris Ferrari has studied with and performed alongside numerous notable figures in the jazz world, including Miguel Zenon, Ethan Iverson, Jason Moran, Joe Morris, Jerry Bergonzi, and Frank Carlberg. Now back in Denver for the summer, Chris is excited to debut his recent writing for a small ensemble, which focuses on the abstraction between composition and improvisation. Join the trio for a set of exciting music that will take you on a journey – opening your mind to the infinite possibilities that exist within the present moment.
