A CCJA workshop, “Digging Deeper: Composition Through Arranging with Dawn Clement”

A new, free online series from the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts! These themed classes are for both the jazz fan and the jazz musician to expand their understanding (and love!) for the music.

In this workshop, Dawn Clement will explain how musicians can find their own voice through the process of arranging – using examples of standards from the great American songbook. Join us as Dawn takes attendees through several iterations of arrangements she’s completed and demonstrates examples of how those ideas have manifested in her own compositions.

Audience members will be encouraged to participate and give feedback.
