Pianist and composer Tigran Hamasyan’s unique voice combines the influence of folk music from his home country of Armenia with the rich tradition of jazz improvisation.
Hamasyan’s distinctive approach is marked by an exploration of odd meter time signatures, and influence from a variety of genres ranging from Baroque to metal.
