Ben Markley, a jazz pianist/arranger, has performed with Brian Lynch, Eddie Henderson, Terell Stafford, John Fedchock and many others. Markley’s recording project is Clockwise: The Music of Cedar Walton (OA2 records) earned a coveted four-star review by Downbeat Magazine in 2017. His newest project featuring drummer Ari Honig is set to be released in 2022.
Ben is an active performer in the Denver-metropolitan area and currently serves as Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Wyoming where he directs the UW Jazz Festival, numerous ensembles, and teaches applied jazz piano and improvisation.
