Bailey Hinkley Grogan is an award-winning jazz vocalist, writer, educator, and performer based out of Denver, Colorado. She has been recognized as an up-and-coming artist in the jazz idiom and has gained attention as a prominent performer in her field. She has won more than 4 Downbeat awards with various ensembles and has performed across the country on prominent stages, the most recent being the Monterey Jazz Festival. She has studied with performers such as Darmon Meader, Kate McGarry, Kurt Elling, Bobby McFerrin, and Gretchen Parlato all of whom have curated her collaborative sense of leadership, crafted her warm, sultry tone, and influenced her advanced improvisation skill set. Bailey’s style is a combination of jazz, folk, and R&B influence.
