Don’t miss this one-time performance of some of Denver’s most dynamic young voices in modern music with the Adam Gang Quintet. Led by saxophonist and composer Adam Gang, this band presents a snapshot of the state of improvisational music, playing evocative originals as well as thoughtfully reworked jazz standards. Adam will be joined by a spectacular lineup of Denver musicians: Nate Miller (trumpet), Tom Amend (piano), Gabe Rupe (bass), and Dru Heller (drums).
Adam Gang is a Colorado born and based saxophone artist who has shared stages with Gabriel Mervine, The Vlad Girshevich Trio, The Annie Booth Big Band, Remy Le Boeuf’s Assembly of Shadows, The Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, Braxton Kahn Quartet, Henrique De Almeida of Brazil and Paa Kow of Ghana, West Africa. Currently pursuing a Master’s of Music Performance degree at the University of Denver as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Adam maintains an active schedule as a performer and educator throughout Colorado.
